Cardiologist Rajan Bhatt is the CEO of Spectrum Dermatology, Spectrum Plastic Surgery, and Valley Surgery Center, LLC. With six medical centers under his care, he has experience in multi-specialty healthcare and surgery center development. Rajan Bhatt is also a member of professional groups such as the American College of Cardiology and the American Society for Echocardiology (ASE).

Founded in 1975, ASE welcomes physicians and non-physicians interested in the use of ultrasound in cardiology. In addition to offering continuing education online and in person, its members advocate for favorable federal laws for the field. In 2021, it contained nearly 17,000 members, most in the United States, but its members originate from over 115 countries. Though about 14,400 members occupied the professional membership tier, 900 occupied the rising star tier, while the remainder were medical students.

ASE engages with its members and allies across many channels. Its public-facing content includes but is not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages, and a YouTube channel, each social media outlet releasing organizational news and echocardiography updates when relevant. To reach a scholarly audience, ASE publishes the Journal of American Society of Echocardiography (JASE), which contains articles about preexisting and emerging uses for ultrasound in cardiology. It releases a volume annually, over 12 monthly issues, in open access format.
